“Mango Festival”: A culinary delight at Litoral Restaurant


Led by Chef Ricardo Muñoz Zurita, Litoral Restaurant in Puerto Cancun presents a festival that is an ode to the mango


The renowned Ricardo Muñoz Zurita presents the “Mango Festival” tasting menu at his Litoral Restaurant. This culinary experience will be available from April 1st to May 30th of this year.


We had the opportunity to try this menu firsthand and were delighted by its fresh and vibrant flavors. To start, the Mango Salad captivated us with its combination of mango slices on organic lettuce, avocado, jicama, and red onion, topped with a basil dressing that adds a herbal touch.


Continuing the experience, the Cold Mango Soup surprised us with its light and refreshing texture, garnished with mint jelly pearls and toasted almonds that provide a crunchy contrast.


As a main course, the Grouper or snook smeared with black mole accompanied by a mashed plantain and a mango pico de gallo fuses Mexican tradition with the freshness of mango. For seafood lovers, the Coconut-wrapped shrimp in mango and passion fruit sauce are a delicious option, served with a side of white rice.

To close with a flourish, the Mango-filled Buñuelos, a classic, delight with their crispy texture and sweet filling. These buñuelos are served with five different sauces: black sapote, red fruits, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate, to satisfy all tastes.
